Easy installation process

Coldbuster under floor tile heating can be installed on a suspended timber or concrete subfloor for use under most hard surfaces throughout any home or commercial project.
 

       

       

  • Stick the Coldbuster under floor heater to the floor (floor heating insulation board, tile backer board or concrete) with the self-adhesive tape already positioned on the heater
  • Roll out and stick the self-adhesive fibreglass mesh over the heater
  • Connect the Klimaguard installation monitor to the factory terminated cold tails and you are ready to begin tiling
Coldbuster tile heating is classified as an appliance and can be installed by any competent person. The heater must be connected to a RCD (safety switch) protected circuit by an electrician. All wiring must conform to AS/NZS 3000:2000 and local wiring regulations.

Complete control and efficient energy use is ensured with the standard programmable thermostat supplied with each under floor heating kit.

 

Estimated floor heating running costs for a room using the 1500W-R tile heater kit (a heated floor area between 16m² up to 18m²) is 9c per running hour (based on 15c per kW/h & a duty cycle of 40%).
